Memorial Serives for Gary MacEoin

There is an old Irish custom called a "month's mind" where family and friends gather about a month after someone's death to celebrate that person's life. On Aug. 3, "month's mind" celebrations for Gary MacEoin are scheduled worldwide.

The Aug. 3 celebration in Washington will be at a private home. A light supper will be served at 6 p.m. and remembrances of Gary will begin at 7 p.m. People are asked to share a story of Gary or to claim an inheritance of one of Gary's traits, such as language, clarity of thought, patience, etc. If you are interested in attending please RSVP to Betsy at and she will provide details and directions.
