Thanks for your coverage of the life of Gary MacEoin. In 1981, three years after the Nicaraguan revolution, I had the honor of traveling to Nicaragua and Honduras with him and a few other participants in a food production policy study tour sponsored by Oxfam America. Gary's familiarity with Central America greatly enhanced our understanding of the social justice issues. It was that trip that gave rise to my book about the origins of the Nicaraguan revolution.

I can't help but feel that there was a "higher hand" behind his rejection from the seminary.
