By Mark Day

Day Productions, a San Diego, Calif., media production house, is producing an hour-long documentary about Gary MacEoin. Click the following link to see a preview: Gary MacEoin After the preview, hit your brower's back button twice to return to this page.

The film accompanies MacEoin in his work, covering a bishop's synod at the Vatican, and trekking through the dusty bordertown of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, where he rubs shoulders with church activists and factory workers. Later, MacEoin revisits the small village in Ireland where he studied in a one room schoolhouse in the 1920s and the seminary where he studied in the 1930s.

We spend a day with him in his small house in San Antonio, Texas and follow him to Maryland where he celebrates his 90th birthday. Interspersed throughout the piece are sound bytes from MacEoin himself, journalists, thinkers, family and friends.
